Theresa Goh is a former Paralympic Swimmer from Singapore. She represented her country in various international competitions for 20 years before retiring at the end of 2019. Theresa participated in 4 Paralympic Games and was the first female Singaporean swimmer to qualify for the Paralympics in 2004. Â A former world record holder in the 50m and 200m Breaststroke SB4 category, she clinched her first Paralympic medal, a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke SB4 category, at the Rio Paralympics on her 4th Paralympic Games outing. A pioneer in the disability sports scene in Singapore, Theresa strongly believes in the importance of seeing the ability in a person and without erasing their disability. Theresa identifies as a Queer athlete with disability tries to speak up more for LGBTQ rights especially in Singapore.
